Bayern Munich faced a tough test against Union Berlin on Saturday afternoon.
Here’s what went down.
Scorers: Kane 15′ (PEN), 51′ Coman 43′
Bayern Munich have consolidated their position at the top of the Bundesliga with a 3-0 win over Union Berlin.
Vincent Kompany’s side were awarded a penalty when Michael Olise was brought down inside the box.
Despite Berlin ‘keeper Frederik Rønnow’s attempt to put Harry Kane off, the striker powered his shot hard and low into the bottom corner to put his side in front.
Kane then turned assist-maker, as his pass inside the box to Kingsley Coman allowed the Frenchman to slam his shot beyond Rønnow from close range.
Into the second half and the home side were flying Kane initially missed a header from Guerrero’s cross, before Coman nodded it back into the path of the Englishman to finish at the second time of asking.
Bayern now sit three points clear of Leipzig at the top of the table, with their rivals away at Borussia Dortmund later on today.
