Aston Villa have unveiled their new third kit for the 2024/25 season.
Celebrating the club’s 150th anniversary, the marketing blurb tells us that the new shirt is in collegiate navy accented by metallic silver and black detailing.
Chris Heck, President of Business at Aston Villa, told their official website: “This new third kit represents the best of Aston Villa’s history and future.
“The design speaks to our club’s proud heritage while embracing the vibrant energy of our supporters. The midnight blue kit represents the club returning to European nights this year in the Champions League, complemented by the vibrant silver as a nod to all the trophies won over the last 150 years. We are excited to see our players and fans wearing it this season.”
It seems unlikely that Villa will debut the shirt this weekend at home to Everton, but it could be on show for their Champions League opener against Young Boys next week.
