Leicester City boss Steve Cooper has provided a mixed injury update ahead of his side’s EFL Cup clash with managerless Manchester United.
The Foxes are set to be without defender Victor Kristiansen with a groin problem, with Cooper explaining: ‘It’s not too bad. It’s a muscle injury to the groin. It’s going to be a little while, but at least it’s going to be days and weeks rather than longer than that. The scan showed it could have been worse than what it is.’
However, they could welcome back long-term absentee Jannick Vestergaard “He had a bit of a stutter with his ankle. He’s back with the group. He’s an experienced player. We’ll see what’s what in terms of availability”, the Leicester boss added.
Can they compound a miserable week at Old Trafford?
