One person has died and at least one more is in hospital following reports of a shooting and stabbing in Weston Monday night, Toronto police say.
At 11:45 p.m., police received reports that someone had been shot and stabbed in the area of Old Weston Road and Rockwell Avenue, Toronto police say.
A 30-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene at Silverthorn Avenue, police say. The homicide unit has taken over the investigation.
Another man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police say. Toronto paramedics say two men were taken to hospital from the incident, both in critical, life-threatening condition.
Police have not released further details about the incident or any possible suspects.
