8 Zoukerino (Bet Now: $14.00) is hard to beat I’d suggest. Jason Coyle trained gelding that ran in the Midway two weeks ago over 1200m here. He got back off the speed and kept finding the line without threatening in a really good effort behind Flightcrew. Extra 100m should be ideal and I think with a half more positive ride, he’ll take beating.
Danger
16 Sebrenco (Bet Now: $41.00) is third up from a spell for Tracey Bartley and should just about be at peak fitness. This mare comes through the Midway from a fortnight back won by Flightcrew. She got back in the run and while she made up some headway, she was never really threatening. Not sure I could back her to win but she is one for exotics.
Long Shot
13 Eye Pea Oh (Bet Now: $18.00) is humming for Team Freedman and is bursting to win a race. Good against the pattern at Newcastle two back before racing here a few weeks ago where she just got a mile out of her ground despite drawing well and she rocketed to the line late behind impressive winner Yiska. If she can settle closer in the run, I think she’ll take beating.

3 Shihab (Bet Now: $12.00) is racing really well at the moment for Glen Milligan and I think he can take out this Highway. He ran two weeks ago over 1400m here where he got back to near last in the run but saved ground nearer the inside and found the line well enough in defeat behind a smart three year old, Know Thyself. Like him up in trip and he can settle much closer in the run.
Danger
16 Invasive Dreams (Bet Now: $23.00) is an improving type. Lyle Chandler trained filly that had two 1100m runs to start the prep before going to 1400m here a fortnight back where she got off the speed and was never really a factor behind Know Thyself, who was a sharp winner. I do think this is a much better set up for Invasive Dreams and her best is more than good enough.
Long Shot
18 He’s A Copy Boy (Bet Now: $34.00) can run an improved race at odds. Ross Stitt trains this four year old, who ran behind Know Thyself two weeks back. He was 1600m back to 1400m, several weeks between runs, and while he was never a winning threat, he did make ground and was solid enough in defeat. Fitter and up in trip, he’s a knockout hope.

7 Father’s Day (Bet Now: $3.20) lands on speed and will take running down I am sure. That is what he did over 2400m on the Kenso last time and was as game as ever but couldn’t quite finish it off, run down late by Kadavar. He is hard fit now, good racing style and overall, this isn’t a deep contest to my eye.
Danger
1 Bonny Ezra (Bet Now: $16.00) has been up a little while for Chris Waller but is holding his form really well. He ran in the Winter Cup a fortnight back where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up ground and was quite good in defeat behind Sir Lucan. If he can settle closer, he’ll take beating.
Long Shot
3 Speycaster (Bet Now: $16.00) can run an improved race for Chris Waller. He ran in the Winter Cup when kept quite safe in betting but he was on the plain side and a touch disappointing in the straight behind Sir Lucan. Prior form was quite good and if you can forgive the last start flop, he’ll be around the mark against these.

4 Unanimous (Bet Now: $15.00) each way for me. He trialled like a rocket prior to resuming, where on face value he has been quite plain in two runs, but I will say he is a much better horse on firmer footing. Heavy8 at the time of writing, hopefully this track can dry out and get down a couple of ratings. If so, I think he can bounce back big time.
Danger
15 One Aye (Bet Now: $19.00) should love the rise to 1800m. Joseph/Jones trained mare that ran a narrow second to Bright Red a few weeks back. She launched late from the back and tried her guts out but just couldn’t quite get there, finishing a narrow second. Tick over trial was quite good, she’s fit, in form…appeals.
Long Shot
18 Queenmaker (Bet Now: $41.00) is capable of filling a first four spot with her best. She ran in the National Classic three weeks back where she ran last, getting back from the good draw and was never really a factor. Not sure I could back her to win, but for exotics, I think she can be entertained.

2 Ha Ha Ha (Bet Now: $4.60) is an imported mare for GaiBott that looks like she is enjoying life down under. Australian debut came over 1300m here a fortnight back, attempting to lead throughout, and she gave a very strong kick but just couldn’t quite see it through, run down late by Amati. Better for the run, up in trip, she’ll take running down.
Danger
6 Defining (Bet Now: $21.00) is an Annabel Neasham trained mare that is racing really well at the moment, albeit at the midweeks. Her last three runs have come over 1300m at Warwick Farm, the latest seeing her run a narrow second to stablemate West Of Africa several weeks ago. Very genuine mare and I don’t see 1400m being an issue. Leading contender.
Long Shot
9 Anagain (Bet Now: $11.00) is a mare who can be hard to trust at times but she is usually around the mark and a must for exotics. She ran over 1300m here two weeks back where she got a fair way out of her ground but did make up ground and wasn’t too bad in defeat behind the Waller mare. Up in trip, she can improve at odds.

8 Jambalaya (Bet Now: $4.00) should love a rise in trip for James Cummings. This guy resumed over 1000m at Randwick a few weeks ago in what looked a barrier trial for him but he let down and finished off with real purpose late in the piece behind Fleetwood, finishing third. Fitter and up in trip, good upside to come, he rates highly.
Danger
10 In Flight (Bet Now: $6.00) commands respect for Joe Pride. This filly was a strong track/distance winner two weeks back. She got off the speed and took a little while to wind into her work but she knuckled down with purpose late to win and win well. Stable is flying, she’ll be strong late, she can win again.
Long Shot
2 South Of India (Bet Now: $11.00) has done little wrong in a five start career and I am confident he can measure up against this lot. He ran over 1000m last start at Scone where he was on speed throughout and credit to him, he was there to be beaten, but he found under pressure and was strong to the line in winning. Good test here, but with his racing style, he’ll give himself every chance.

Very keen each way on 12 Principessa (Bet Now: $27.00). I have been hot on her this prep, waiting and waiting for the Blinkers to be slapped back on and they are for this race. Her runs this time in have been encouraging and she has raced like a mare wanting the Blinkers back on. Firmer deck, maps ideal, I think she’s the each way gamble on the card.
Danger
9 Foniska (Bet Now: $13.00) is an improving type for Chris Waller. Needed the run fresh behind Waterford before going to the Lord Mayors Cup three weeks back where I thought she ran a much improved race in defeat behind Eliyass. She has a stack of upside/improvement to come and is a knockout chance.
Long Shot
6 Queenmaker (Bet Now: $71.00) is capable of filling a first four spot with her best. She ran in the National Classic three weeks back where she ran last, getting back from the good draw and was never really a factor. Not sure I could back her to win, but for exotics, I think she can be entertained.

3 Elouyou (Bet Now: $4.50) on top. Most thought Lane was a bit cute on him in the straight three weeks ago at Flemington. IMO, I thought the horse had every chance and was just run down by a better horse on the day, Georgie Get Mad. I do think though the horse is better with a bunny to chase, so if that eventuates, he’ll take beating I am sure.
Danger
19 Influential (Bet Now: $31.00) should appreciate added fitness. He resumed behind Franz Josef a few weeks back over 1500m at Rosehill. He got back off the speed but was never a factor behind the Ryan/Alexiou galloper. Tick over trial was quite good and with room for improvement, he can run a much improved race at odds.
Long Shot
4 Green Shadows (Bet Now: $31.00) is dangerous with his best. Superb first up winner at Warwick Farm before a a few of runs where he has been solid each time with excuses, the latest on the Kenso when back and making up some ground without threatening behind Pure Alpha. Firmer deck, genuine tempo (hopefully), he can take this out despite the gate.

Convinced that 4 Steely (Bet Now: $61.00) is flying and despite coming back to 1500m, he appeals as an each way bet. He ran 11th a few weeks ago over the mile at Randwick, but I am convinced had he got the split when Jones initially was probing, he was going to drive hard late and be right in the finish. He is a much better horse on top of the ground, firmer footing vs last time, he’ll be strong late…like him a lot each way.
Danger
12 I’mintowin (Bet Now: $4.50) looks to have returned in good order. GaiBott trained gelding that resumed a fortnight back at this track/distance where he sat on speed throughout and looked to be trucking. Clicked up and looked the winner but couldn’t quite see it through when second to Franz Josef. Fitter, hopefully on a firmer deck, he’ll take running down.
Long Shot
6 Bethencourt (Bet Now: $31.00) is racing really well for Kim Waugh and commands respect. Can make a case to say she should have placed three weeks back but just got badly held up at the wrong time when wanting to get clear and build the revs. Not as effective on dry ground vs wet ground, but she’s flying and can run a positive race.

9 Kapakiri (Bet Now: $11.00) looks to have returned in pretty good order for Chris Waller. He resumed over 1500m at Rosehill a few weeks ago where he got a fair way out of his ground on the testing track and while he was never threatening, he found the line and was quite good in defeat. Fitter and up in trip, firmer deck, hard to beat.
Danger
8 Time Quest (Bet Now: $6.00) is steadily getting better with racing and time for Matty Smith and has earned a crack at Saturday grade after winning at Warwick Farm at the midweeks last time, albeit the win came via the Stewards Room, but the run prior was very good and he has shown signs of improvement. He appeals.
Long Shot
12 Mascaret (Bet Now:
$SP.00) doesn’t win out of turn but I think she has returned in pretty good order and should take beating. She ran over the mile at Randwick three weeks back where she got back to near last in the run and made up ground nicely without threatening behind Bright Red. Fitter and up to 1800m, I think it all points to her running well.

9 King Of Naples (Bet Now: $11.00) commands respect for me. John O’Shea trained gelding that resumed six weeks ago at Scone where he was nearer the inside, quicksand, and stuck on very well in defeat in a pass mark behind talented mare Dollar Magic. Fitter and up in trip, kind map, he rates highly for me.
Danger
8 Dehorned Unicorn (Bet Now: $41.00) is an improver for Mark Minervini. First run for the stable came over 1000m at Randwick three weeks back behind Fleetwood where he got back and was never really a factor. His best is more than good enough to take this out so watch the market.
Long Shot
10 Storm King (Bet Now: $67.00) is an interesting runner. Formerly with Ben Brisbourne, he now finds himself with Scott Henley, who trains at Grafton and I dare say may have eyes on the upcoming Carnival there, potentially the South Grafton Cup given it is a Big Dance Qualifier. His best form comes over 2000m but he has trialled up well and loves wet ground, so watch the market.
