Two goals from Joe Gormley secured Cliftonville a first league win in seven games with a 2-1 win over Coleraine at Solitude.
The victory sees the Reds climb to fifth in the table while Dean Shiels’ side slip out of the top half.
Cliftonville opened the scoring in the 18th minute thanks to Joe Gormley’s fifth league goal of the season.
Defender Graham Kelly was slow to clear his lines from a Coleraine throw-in, allowing Rory Hale to nip in and win the ball.
The Cliftonville attacker ended up on the floor with referee Evan Boyce pointing immediately to the spot.
Gormley took responsibility for the penalty, blasting the ball straight down the middle a first Reds’ goal in 364 minutes of league action.
Coleraine responded positively and drew level on the half hour mark through Jamie McGonigle.
Jamie Glackin did well to rob Shea Kearney of possession in midfield before slipping in the Dungiven man who fired home low from a narrow angle.
The Reds restored their advantage shortly after the hour mark through that man Gormley again.
The Coleraine defence failed to deal with a high ball into their box and there was Gormley to swivel and fire low into the bottom corner of the net.
The Bannsiders passed up a glorious chance to level five minutes from the end when an unmarked Matthew Shevlin headed over the crossbar from six yards out from a Corey Smith pass.
