ICC 2024 T20 World Cup: Canada, who will be playing as the associate nation in the 2024 T20 World Cup, has revealed its 15-member squad. The Pakistani-Canadian cricketer Saad Zafar will be leading the side. Canada scripted history by qualifying for the mega-event after defeating Bermuda in the finals of America’s qualifiers. Both Canada and Bermuda were tied on the same points, but Canada had a better NRR and thus they qualified for the tournament.  
 
Canada has been rigorously preparing for the World Cup by playing several bilateral T20I series. But they lost the recently concluded five-match T20I series against USA 4-0, where the last match was abandoned due to incessant rain.

About 20 teams will be participating in the 2024 T20 World Cup. All the teams are divided into four groups and each group has five teams. Canada has been clubbed into a tricky group that has teams like India, Pakistan, Ireland, and USA. Canada will lock horns with the USA in their tournament opener on June 2nd and will then play against India on June 15th.
