LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) — It’s no secret Longview has produced its fair share of talented football players.
One of those standouts on the gridiron, former Lobo and Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Broderick Washington Jr., held his second annual youth football camp over the weekend at Lobo Stadium in Longview.
Washington Jr., who signed a three-year contract extension with the Ravens last year, said San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle and fellow Lobo Trent Williams was a big inspiration for him coming back to Longview to put on his youth football camps.
He enjoys the opportunity to not only teach football skills to the kids but also life lessons and help them grow on and off the football field.
