Career Fairs, Information Sessions and Conferences provide an excellent way for you to learn more about your field, to network and to find the opportunities available in it. Employers attend career fairs and trade show booths to inform students of future opportunities as well as look for talented students/graduates for current positions. Check out these upcoming events!
- Bioscience Association of Manitoba is hosting the BAM Summer Mixer on June 27 from 4 p.m. -6 p.m. at the Smartpark Innovation Hub. Cost for non members is $25.
- Mark your calendar! The U of M is hosting the annual ASE Career Fair at UMSU University Centre on October 9. More details to come in August.
- Are you a scholar, decision maker, researcher, or practitioner interested in a sustainable future and innovation in digital transformation? The 2nd International Conference on Advancing Sustainable Futures (ICASF 2024) is being hosted in Abu Dhabi. Academics, practitioners, and research students are invited to submit working and full papers. Virtual presentations are also welcome! Deadline for submissions is June 25, July 15, and September 15.
- Falling Walls Lab will be happening on September 11. It is a global pitch competition uniting students and professionals with breakthrough ideas. This event supports innovation and communication skills, promoting collaboration and sustainability. Academic institutions worldwide host these labs, allowing participants three minutes to present solutions to pressing challenges. Applications due July 15.
