British tennis fans are in for a treat as two of their biggest stars, Andy Murray and Emma Raducanu, join forces in the mixed doubles at Wimbledon 2024. Murray, a former two-time champion, has been granted a wild card for this exciting partnership.
After withdrawing from the gentlemen’s singles due to recovery from back surgery, Murray is determined to make the most of his final appearance at Wimbledon. He’ll not only play the men’s doubles with his older brother Jamie but also team up with Raducanu in the mixed event.

Ranked world no.113, Murray played his last match on the 19th of June when he had to retire when playing against world no.40 Jordan Thompson in the 2nd round and the scoreline was 4-1

Ranked no.135, Raducanu achieved a compiled 14-9 record in 2024. Emma is now competing in Wimbledon where she bested the world no.98 Renata Zarazua 7-60 6-3.
Emma Raducanu will fight against the world no.33 Elise Mertens in the 2nd round on Wednesday at 6:00 pm on Court 1. In the past, they have never played each other until now in top events.
