The Detroit Pistons had the worst record in the NBA last season (14-68). Still, they were impressed with the development of former No. 1 overall draft pick Cade Cunningham enough that the two sides agreed to a five-year, $224 million maximum rookie extension.
Cunningham played in just 12 games in 2022-2023 due to a shin injury but bounced back to play in 62 contests last year while posting career highs in points per game (22.7), field-goal percentage (44.9) and three-point field-goal percentage (35.5). If he can remain consistently healthy, Cunningham could be the savior Pistons fans have been waiting for.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. The Pistons haven’t advanced out of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs since 2008 and haven’t had a winning record since 2015-2016.
Detroit is making a massive investment in Cunningham with the hope he will live up to his potential and rescue the historic franchise from futility. With that being said, can you name every player to be named NBA First-Team All-Rookie since 2014-2015?
Good luck!
