Answering an open challenge for the TNA Wrestling Knockouts Championship, another NXT star crossed over from WWE.
On tonight’s airing of TNA Impact, a recently filmed open challenge match for Jordynne Grace’s TNA Wrestling Knockouts Championship aired.
Last week we covered notes from the latest tapings, including Izzi Dame making an appearance to answer the challenge and coming up short in the bout that aired tonight (July 11).
Grace also recently retained her championship at TNA Against All Odds against WWE NXT star Tatum Paxley, who similarly answered an open challenge.
Also making an appearance on tonight’s TNA Impact were the No Quarter Catch Crew with Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne and Tavion Heights.
Borne attacked Trey Miguel at ringside and cost Zachary Wentz a match against Dempsey, before later in backstage segment the three No Quarter Catch Crew members challenged Miguel, Wentz and a mystery partner to a six-man tag match next week.
This past Tuesday on NXT, Wentz and Miguel appeared and reunited The Rascalz with Wes Lee.
TNA’s Joe Hendry also made a return in the main event, tagging with Trick Williams to take on Ethan Page and Shawn Spears.
Hendry and Williams would pick up the win.
