There is another player struggling with an injury on Team USA, but it looks like he is going to stay with the squad through the pre Olympic tour and into the Paris Games. Kevin Durant has been dealing with a calf strain that kept him out of the game against Canada, and will keep him out of today’s game, but head coach Steve Kerr doesn’t seem too concerned with KD’s status. “It’s not something we’ve even discussed at this point because we feel good that [Durant] is going to be OK,” Kerr said. There are still a few weeks before the team has to have their roster finalized for the Olympics, but they would prefer to have their squad set before the end of the showcase so the players have as much court time together as possible.
