Is this analytics thing becoming an issue in the NFL where coaches are no longer coaching.
They’re depending on what the analytics say, what some computers sitting here telling them.
I hate the analytics man.
Just coach, coach the game.
It’s kind of ruining the game, right?
Because then you could take it to a bigger level as far as guys that are in management positions that are just there because they have numbers that they’re just telling and reading off and they don’t know what a football player looks like, even getting a football player in the building, they’ll say, hey, this guy looks the part he runs fast.
His injuries are this that whatever.
But then you look on tape, they look like Tarzan and play like Jane and then you have somebody that’s undersized that might be a little bit smaller, a little bit slower, but you put them on football field and he is a dog.
I think those players are starting to be less existence into our beautiful game that we love.
And I think it’s involved in coaching too.
Sometimes you gotta go how your gut is feeling and how your team is.
The analytics is really messing up the game to the point to where they’re even putting it on the screen.
Now, like the analytics says, do this go for a says go for it because in this percentage, you uh I even had a guy the other day at the gas station said, you know, journal coming up with this technology can gauge athleticism and how this kid can go to this school.
And because he’s at this peak, if he does this and I’m like, bro, go watch kitty run fast, kitty jump high.
Is he strong?
Ok. Now let’s put him in a football situation to see if he can play.
That’s how you determine athleticism and a lot of coaches are gonna lose jobs and mess up situations and games because of the ana players, they’re messing up players livelihoods because that’s what I’m saying, man, that it really bothers me.
I’m so an analytics.
I’m, I’m a football player one because I’m not the biggest fastest, strongest.
I’ve always told people my line is Gerald.
I ain’t the biggest, I ain’t the fastest.
I ain’t gonna be your first pick, but I ain’t gonna be your last pick.
I’m gonna be your best pick.
That was always my mindset.
Shoot.
I like that.
I ain’t gonna lie.
I’m, I’m gonna steal that.
I just ain’t gonna use it when you around
