Watford midfielder Giorgi Chakvetadze has signed a new five-year contract at the Championship club until 2029.
The 25-year-old made a permanent switch to the Hornets in February, having impressed during a loan spell from Belgian club Gent.
He has scored twice in his 44 appearances for the Championship club, including a goal in their opening day win against Millwall in August.
“He’s a fantastic example for our younger players on how focusing on what’s really important in your life – if you truly want to make it as a professional – matters,” head coach Tom Cleverley told the club website.
“Let’s hope he can be a big part of our future and that success we all want.”
