Yahoo Sports’ Fantasy Football Live crew reacts to the news that the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver will miss Monday night’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Some big names here that impact a lot of you, Roma Dunes tracking to play according to Adam Schefter, Keenan Allen, a game time decision and we have from Tom Piso, the breaking news.
Uh AJ Brown has gone from questionable to out for Monday night, AJ Brown not going to play Monday night.
So Andy Barns, uh what’s the level of panic now around the AJ Brown uh draftees?
Yeah, I I will say that, I mean it’s not a silver lining.
This is bad news.
There’s nobody available on the waiver wire who’s gonna perform like AJ Brown, but you get enough clarity here that, you know, if you were, if you were worried about, do I have to start somebody today or should I take this all the way up till Monday night and then maybe get stuck starting like Darnell Mooney or Raya mcleod.
You don’t have to do that anymore.
Got the full slate of games today ahead of you to replace him.
So I guess that’s good news.
But of course, if you have AJ Brown on a roster, this is going to be an ongoing concern.
I’m I’m glad that Philadelphia is being this conservative and not allowing him to aggravate it, reinjure it, you know, ma make it any, any worse this week.
Um, and I’m, again, I’m glad that we have clarity before the start of the Sunday slate.
Let’s also remind everybody that sometimes the most important thing you need to be in the NFL to be successful is healthy and we’ve seen repeatedly super bowl champions are the teams that are at the low end of the games missed by starters list.
