Shoppers, get ready for mega deals: Amazon Prime Day is this week.
The exclusive event begins Tuesday and offers bargain deals for Amazon Prime members, with summer savings on electronics, home goods, office supplies and more.
That said, there are already some early deals to check out, including on Amazon products and more.
Here’s everything to know about Amazon Prime Day 2024.
The annual two-day shopping event features sales only for Amazon Prime members. It began in 2015, when Amazon celebrated its 20th anniversary.
The exclusive summer sale offers members savings on a variety of Amazon products across all categories.

The 48-hour sale begins in the early morning hours Tuesday, July 16. Amazon Prime Day launches at 12:01 a.m. PT, with deals for Michiganders beginning at 3:01 a.m. ET.
Shoppers have 48 hours after the start time, giving Michigan customers extra time to grab deals. Michiganders can take advantage of Amazon Prime Day sales through 3:01 a.m. ET on Thursday, July 18.
There are plenty of things on sale to add to your cart, but there are time limits set on some of the deals. If you want to shop with a bit more leisure ahead of Tuesday, there are plenty of incredible early Amazon deals leading up to the huge shopping event.
Amazon Prime Day’s exclusive deals are limited to Amazon Prime members. Here’s where you can sign up for a free trial or join Prime. Newcomers can get a 30-day free trial, after which they have to pay the monthly fee of $14.99.
A standard Amazon Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 for a one-year subscription. Students and those who qualify for government assistance can get a 50% discount. Prime members can also take advantage of unlimited access to Grubhub+, with $0 delivery fees and exclusive savings.
Amazon Prime members also have access to the company’s library of videos, music, free shipping on many items, exclusive deals and more.
New and existing members can enjoy exclusive summer savings on some favorite products-like headphones, robot vacuums, air fryers, televisions, clothes and so much more.
It may seem like everything under the sun is on sale for Amazon Prime Day and for the most part it is! But be aware that some of the sales have limited quantities or are only on sale for a certain amount of time.
The event typically features major deals on big-ticket products, including electronics, kitchen gadgets, tools and more. Members will also see discounts on brands like Clinique, Allbirds and Kiehl’s, with new deals dropping every five minutes.
