Applications to attend one of the industry’s most premiere trade events, the 2024 Visit Portugal Travel Trade Marketplace are now open.
Happening in Algarve, Portugal October 20-27, the event offers both US and Canadian Agents and Tour Operator attendees a chance to build new business and connections with leading partners.
Taking place in Algarve, Portugal, between October 20-27, the Visit Portugal Travel Trade Marketplace will offer travel advisors and tour operator attendees the chance to build new business relationships and make direct connections with leading partners.
Delegates must pay €150 before the event, which includes all transfers, meals, stays mentioned on the event program and domestic flights for the post tours in Portugal. Attendees must fill out the application form, with only companies from the United States and Canada being considered.
Application submission will end on July 5, and the vetting process will continue until July 12.
Applicants will be notified regarding their selection status, as a position is not guaranteed. Due to limited space, not all interested parties can be accommodated.
To allow for new participants, travel advisors who attended the 2023 Marketplace will not be considered for this edition.

The 2023 edition of the event was the first big industry in-person event for Portugal since the pandemic, with over 120 buyers from Canada and the U.S. and over 60 sellers. 2024’s event will also allow visitors to learn about the country’s seven regions and take post tours.
