I don’t really know if the Falcons are any good, but boy, there is something too well, they find a way to win.
Kirk 42 of 58 for 509 yards, four touchdowns in this game.
Drake London huge night.
Kyle Pitts finally caught some football.
It’s like all of these things stacked together and you look at it and say, man, that’s an explosive Falcons offense.
Look at how good they are.
And then I found myself also thinking at the same time, Frank, I’m like though, like, because yet again, it takes this heroic herculean effort for the Falcons to win even when their offense is clicking.
And I do think there is something too.
Kirk is obviously thriving when they go up tempo when they go.
No huddle when they go two minute, he’s thriving.
Let him do that.
Let Kirk Cook at this point, let Kirk Cook because that’s how you win football games.
Here’s where I am with the Falcons.
No, they’re not playing well.
Uh There’s a lot of things you can clean up with the Atlanta Falcons, but as you look at the rest of the division, you’re three and two.
Buccaneers are three and two Saints, I believe, are two and two at this point.
They play on Monday night and you’re like, well, we’re fine.
We, we’re figuring things out and we’re tied for first place.
I think the Buccaneers are the best team in the division, but I kind of think the Falcons win it because I think they’re gonna get better as the season goes on.
You saw again, I think, I think you saw Kirk Cousins wake up last night and it was gonna take him time with his new teammates with his new coaches coming off an achilles.
It was gonna take until, you know, 56 games into the season to knock all the rust off and we saw that Kirk Cousins last night.
I think this is where they’re going.
I think it was where they’re heading.
I think that from now until the end of the season, we’re going to see an explosive offense.
We’re gonna see Drake London become a star.
We’re gonna see Kyle Pitts get out of that, what, four year slump or whatever he’s in.
The one thing I do have a question about is Bijon.
Bijon does not look like Bijon yet, but that might come along too.
I think the Falcons are in good shape however they got here is fine, but they’re 3 to 2 and I think they’re gonna be good the rest of the season any time they sneak a win.
I think it matters too because, you know, if you look over the course of the last month and a half of the year, they have the Chargers who should be winnable, then they have Minnesota tough game and then they finish with the Raiders, the Giants, the commanders and the Panthers.
Like they, they absolute, if they’re flying, they can fly through the last six weeks of the season.
So anytime they bank a win right now, it’s just gonna be a benefit to where they end up, I think as fans, sometimes you got to step back and ask yourself, what do you want, do you want to be the fan of a playoff team or do you want to be the fan of a good team?
That’s not always the same thing.
I don’t necessarily know yet if I believe Atlanta is a good team, but I do believe Atlanta is a playoff team.
