Enzo Maresca will be the envy of many Premier League managers because of the depth of his squad.
The Chelsea boss has been able to rotate his team entirely for different competitions and that has paid off, with the Blues second in the Premier League and now into the knockouts of the Uefa Conference League.
Travel to this game involved a gruelling 7,000-mile round trip and Maresca opted to give even some of his fringe players a rest and instead gave a number of the club’s promising teenagers the chance to shine.
They all took that chance, with 18-year-old former Barcelona forward Marc Guiu scoring one goal and effectively getting a second, although it was credited as an own goal.
But he caught the eye with his all round display.
“He must have watched Luis Suarez as a young man at Barcelona,” said former Chelsea forward Joe Cole on TNT Sports.
“He has great movement. He was a thorn in the side throughout the game.”
