Scammers never take holidays, and Christmas time is a busy season for fraudsters. BCN’s Naveen Day reached out to the Better Business Bureau to learn more about the scams that are currently trending.
According to the BBB Serving Southern Alberta and East Kootenay, consumers coast to coast will spend 15-billion dollars over the holiday season. And millions of those dollars to be stolen by crooked Grinches. Wes Lafortune with the BBB says scammers are taking advantage of consumers by impersonating delivery services.
