Labour leaders demand strong action to protect Canadian workers
OTTAWA—Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) President Bea Bruske will be available to speak to media following today’s 3:00 p.m. meeting between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and U.S. President Donald Trump.
Last night, the CLC Executive and key unions representing workers on the front lines of Trump’s trade war held an emergency meeting to discuss the urgent need for action.
Minister Steven MacKinnon and government officials were also in attendance.
