In a great matchup.
Can Caleb Williams shut everyone up.
Uh I’m sure it’s talk about uncomfortable.
I’m sure it is uncomfortable to listen to, uh, local Chicago radio at this point with the way of Caleb Williams has started the way Jaden Daniels looked on Monday night and the fact that your boy Justin Fields is, uh, three and oh, despite, you know, them having the exact amount of offensive touchdowns as they have wins.
Yeah, I gotta say it’s, uh, it’s some of the national voices that are really, that are really getting to me because like, I don’t know, maybe it’s happening somewhere in Chicago, but like in my circles, even in my circles of like Meat Head Bears fans who say some of the silliest stuff you’ll ever hear.
No one’s pining away for Justin Fields.
Um, I understand the Jaden Daniels comparisons, right.
And, and maybe that’s a thing that’s going to dog them his entire career, but this does not have a Mitch Rey Pat Mahomes vibe to me, like I’m, I’m not there and it’s not Bryce Young CJ Stroud last year.
It was like, oh my God, one guy looks like a dude and the other looks hopeless in this matchup.
Um where, like we’re talking about the Rams defense that Brock Purdy just picked apart the Rams right now and some of it is a function of who they’ve played.
But man, they’re giving up 9.8 yards per attempt, they’ve given up seven passing scores on the air.
They are a vulnerable defense like we know it.
Um, man, I just want to see Caleb have a day against this team and then maybe we can all chill for, for a few weeks on speculating about whether the Bears have made a franchise altering mistake, which I don’t think they have.
