The County Am is quickly approaching.
The 2024 Volusia County Amateur Golf Championship is scheduled for Oct. 12-13 (Saturday-Sunday) at Venetian Bay in New Smyrna Beach.
The 36-hole stroke-play event features three divisions: Championship (open to all to compete for overall County Am title), Senior (55-over) and Super Senior (65-over). Tee times start at 7:30 each morning, with all players starting from the first tee.

The format is scratch-play only, no handicaps. All entrants must be Volusia County residents. Entry fee of $150 covers golf and cart, range balls and post-tournament luncheon on Sunday. Practice rounds are available Oct. 7-11 at a $35 green fee.
The field is limited to the first 100 entries, and the top third of the finishers in each division will win prize money.
