Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has confirmed that defender Reece James has picked up yet another hamstring injury over the November international break, ruling him out of the clash with Leicester City.
The defender missed much of the 23/24 campaign after undergoing surgery on his hamstring, but has hardly featured so far this season through a mixture of injury and suspension.
Now, he has been ruled out of the clash with the Foxes, with Maresca explaining that he has a minor hamstring issue.
“Unfortunately Reece felt something small and we don’t want to take a risk for this game”
“Hopefully it is not something long”, the Chelsea boss added.
Chelsea head into the weekend sitting third in the Premier League table, nine points off leaders Liverpool.
