Tuttosport newspaper reports Everton have offered Portuguese striker Beto to Serie A strugglers Torino.
Wednesday’s printed edition of Tuttosport newspaper reports that Everton have offered their centre forward Beto to Torino.
The Granata must cope without their star striker, Duvan Zapata, until the end of the season due to a knee injury.
They’ve lost four games from five since the Colombia international was forced to the sidelines at the start of October, scoring just three goals in Serie A.
Beto has been struggling with playing time at Everton, so the Premier League side are looking for a club where he could be involved more consistently.
Torino are seen as an ideal option given that Beto already played in Serie A for two seasons before joining Everton in a €30m deal in 2023.
The 26-year-old scored 22 goals in 65 Udinese appearances but has only netted seven times in 46 matches with Everton.
Beto isn’t the only option for Torino, who are also monitoring Napoli’s Giovanni Simeone and Milan’s Luka Jovic.
