Yahoo Fantasy contributor Sal Vetri offers his four findings that will help managers find success in the second week of fantasy football including the sketchy spot, pickup and play, and bounce back player.
Here are four key findings that will help you in your week two fantasy matchup starting with the pick up and play of the week.
And that’s the Rams wide receiver demarcus Robinson, who’s going to see a larger role in the offense with Puka Noua out at least four games with a knee injury.
Now Robinson has already been a part of this offense over his final five games last year.
He was a top 12 Fantasy receiver despite Pukana and Cooper Cup being active and heading into week two, he’ll face an Arizona Cardinals defense that Pff ranks as the 29th ranked second.
Derry in the NFL.
And last week, Josh Allen completed 78% of his passes against this Cardinals defense.
Finding number two is the bounce back player of the week and that’s the Ravens running back, Derrick Henry who had a nice start to week one scoring a touchdown, but then the Ravens fell behind and Derek Henry’s production slowed.
Henry only saw five touches in the second half as the Ravens trailed, but the Ravens are only underdogs two more times this year.
Expect Henry to bounce back this week as he’s a nine point favorite against the Raiders who allowed 130 five rushing yards to JK Dobbins last week and as a big favorite in his career, Derek Henry averages 119 rushing yards per game.
Finding number three is the best spot of the week and we go back to the Rams with their running back.
Kyron Williams who played an elite 91% of the snaps and handled 18 of 20 backfield carries in week one.
Meanwhile, the rookie Blake quorum saw zero snaps.
This is nowhere near a split backfield right now.
It’s still Kyron’s job with an elite role.
And in week two, Kyron faces an Arizona Cardinals that allowed over 100 total yards to James Cook in week one and last year when Kyron faced this defense two times, Kron produced 21.8 and 35.4 points against this defense.
Yes, this is the best spot of the week.
Finding number four is the sketchy spot of the week and that’s for the Bengals running back, Zach Moss who actually had a strong role in week one playing 65% of the snaps for the Bengals.
And more importantly, and perhaps surprisingly, he handled the RB one responsibilities in all situations playing 100% of the two minute offense, which is a role we thought Chase Brown might have.
So everything looks good for Zach Moss except his matchup in week two as he’s a six point road underdog against the Chiefs team that only allowed 49 rushing yards to the Ravens running backs in week one.
Boss is likely going to need to score at least one touchdown to be relevant in week two.
It’s a sketchy spot.
So these have been my four key findings that will help you win your matchup in week two.
All you have to do now is take all this information and smack around your league mates with it.
