Gloucestershire has been illuminated this week by stunning festive displays as thousands of people have been enjoying the last days before Christmas.
We’ve picked some of our favourite photographs from across the county, including Bourton-on-the-Water’s famous tree.
And up in Cam, a chicken has been impressing people with its high-visibility jacket to protect itself from motorists.
New details about the county’s long-awaited A417 Missing Link project have also got people talking.
Chicken run: Photographs of a chicken in Cam roaming around the village wearing a hi-vis jacket to protect herself from motorists has impressed readers.
She is called Billie Jean and is two years old. Despite originally being kept with other chickens, she’s had to be moved because she was known to bully them.
Treemendous: The beautiful Christmas tree at Bourton-on-the-Water is usually captured in the dark to get the full effect of the lights.
However, in this picture the photographer has done an amazing job of capturing the tree in dusk.

Stunning: This reflection of the Christmas lights on Gloucester Docks was too lovely not to share.
Landmark agreement: National Highways and Natural England have signed a memorandum of understanding on the £460m A417 Missing Link project.
The Gloucestershire Way Crossing will be a 37-metre-wide multi-purpose crossing – the largest in the country at the time of construction.
Green issues are taking centre stage in the planning of new roads in the county.
King of craft: We have been given a glimpse of what Christmas is like at the Gloucestershire home of King Charles.
The King will speak about his commitment to heritage crafts as part of a BBC Christmas special of Countryfile airing this Christmas.
Jingle all the way: Gloucester Services has been getting into the Christmas spirit as people head away for a festive break.
People stopping at the services on the M5 were greeted by Christmas carol singers!
Only three days to go: Dursley is into the festive spirit, counting down to Christmas with these creative advent displays.
