The senior setter compiled 16 assists, eight digs, four aces and two kills in a 25-18, 25-14 win over Lincoln on Thursday.
The senior golfer won the individual boys Central State Eight Conference title even-par 71 at the Lincoln Elks Club on Wednesday. Appenzeller, last year’s CS8 champion, shot 75 and the Titans earned second place as a team behind Normal U-High.
The senior golfer won her fourth individual Sangamo Conference title 5-over-par 76 at Edgewood and the Cardinals won the team title as well.
The junior defensive back pulled down a key interception in the third quarter and sealed the 38-30 Central State Eight Conference win over Normal U-High with a strip and fumble recovery on the final defensive stand on Friday.
The senior golfer won the individual and team girls Central State Eight Conference titles 1-under-par 71 at Lincoln Greens Golf Course on Wednesday.
The senior carded a 2-over-par 72 for medalist honors and North Mac won the South Central Conference Tournament by nine strokes, 318-327 over second-place Pana at Indian Springs Golf Course in Fillmore on Tuesday.
The senior setter reached 2,000 career assists in a 25-19, 24-26, 25-22 Sangamo Conference win over Athens on Tuesday. She finished with 29 assists in the win.
The sophomore won the Springfield High Invite in 15:39.20 at Lincoln Park on Saturday.
The junior fullback ran for 154 yards and four touchdowns while also returning an interception for a score in a 67-28 Sangamo Conference win against Auburn.
The senior won medalist honors, shooting a 78 at the South Central Conference Tournament on Tuesday.
The sophomore won the Springfield High Invite in 18:16.50 on Saturday.
The senior hitter generated five aces and two kills in a 25-17, 25-15 win over rival Springfield High on Thursday en route to the team’s second straight City title. She delivered four aces in one sequence that led to a 21-11 advantage in the second set.
The senior running back rumbled for 197 yards on 20 attempts and scored three touchdowns in the Pretzels’ 35-0 victory at Pittsfield. Nelson’s TDs covered 75, 3 and 8 yards as New Berlin improved to 5-0 and became playoff eligible for the first time since 2015.
The senior posted seven kills, five aces, 10 assists and six digs to lift Carlinville to 12-3 overall in a 25-15, 25-13 win over Gillespie on Thursday.
