Huddersfield Giants have signed loose forward George King on a four-year deal after he left fellow Super League side Hull KR.
The 29-year-old joins his hometown club having previously turned out for Warrington Wolves, Wakefield Trinity and the Robins.
King, who came through the Giants’ academy before starting his senior career with Warrington, made 13 appearances for Hull KR last season before his departure.
“Being a local lad, I can’t wait to get started and rip in, pull on the jersey of my hometown club,” he said.
“10 years ago I was in the Giants academy playing with some lads who are still in Super League now and I know some others in the team.
“I’m looking forward to getting in and bonding with them and the new players that are coming in.”
