Another IHSAA tennis doubles state championship belongs to Jasper High School.
Four months after Reese Mundy and Paige Giesler became the school’s third girls pair to clinch an IHSAA title, seniors Caleb Schnarr and Eli Flick won a doubles championship of their own. They knocked off Carmel’s No. 1 duo in straight sets to clinch the first boys individual title in program history.
They won the first set 6-1 before the second was retired at 1-1 because of an injury.
