The PGA will hold one of its four big events in Langley in September 2024.
The Assistants’ Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf heading to Redwoods Golf Course.
The PGA of Canada national championship schedule feature events in four provinces from June to September, while the to-be-announced Head Professional Championship of Canada is expected to once again be scheduled in November or early December.
“I speak for our entire championships team when I express how excited we are for this coming season,” said PGA of Canada championships manager Matt Mueller. “We are so grateful to have such phenomenal hosts for our events, and we are very pleased to be able spread our championships out across the country.”
The season will begin in Calgary, Alta., at Mickelson National for the PGA Championship of Canada June 9 to 12. A few weeks later, the top female professional and amateur players in the country will head to TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley July 2 to 5 for the ORORO PGA Women’s Championship of Canada, where exemption spots into the CPKC Women’s Open will be on the line.
Just announced today, the PGA Seniors’ Championship of Canada presented by GOLFTEC is heading back to Parcours du Vieux Village in Bromont, Que., July 29 to Aug. 1. Vieux Village previously hosted the Seniors’ Championship of Canada in 2021, when Dennis Hendershott fired a final-round 64 to win by one stroke over Danny King.
The PGA Assistants’ Championship of Canada is Sept. 11 to 14 at Redwoods Golf Club. The event heads to Canada’s western-most province for the first time since 2017, when Marc-Étienne Bussieres won by one stroke over Sonny Michaud at Richmond Country Club.
Women are eligible and encouraged to compete in all National Championships and will play at a course length shorter than the men’s yardage.
