Yahoo Sports fantasy analyst Matt Harmon explains why the Browns wide receiver is worth starting in your lineup this week.
Yeah, I was pretty surprised to see that Cedric Tillman is still sub 20% rostered in Yahoo Leagues.
I think it’s right about 15% here on Sunday morning because it looks like this is a guy.
We talked about a good bit on the waiver segment of the podcast.
I know Andy talked about him as a waiver option as well.
Led the team with 81 yards uh in last week’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
He had a 30% air air yard share and this is like, I don’t think this is just kind of a random pop up for Cedric Tillman.
It’s clear that the Browns have been trying to get Tilman on the field all the way back into training camp.
The problem is that he’s an ex receiver, size wise, positional fit wise like he is an ex receiver.
He was not gonna take that job from Amari Cooper and he doesn’t really fit onto the field anywhere else.
Now that Cooper is out of the mix.
I think Tilman is gonna get a nice rest of season audition as that starting ex receiver I gave him kind of a Courtland Sutton comparison coming into the league and with the amount of in breakers that he ran from that ex receiver position for Cleveland last week, I do think that that fits as a pretty nice comparison.
He gets a Baltimore secondary this week.
That was already giving up a lot of passing production and is now dealing with some cluster injuries back there.
So I think Tilman could give you a wide receiver three performance this week and maybe be an asset for the rest of the season.
