Ipswich Town have confirmed that Leif Davis has signed a new long-term contract.
The defender moved to Portman Road in 2022 and was an integral figure as Kieran McKenna’s side sealed back-to-back promotions.
Davies has now reaffirmed his commitment to the Tractor Boys with an improved deal which safeguards his future until summer 2028.
“We are all delighted that Leif has committed his future to the club,” said McKenna.
“Leif has made huge strides over the last two-and-a-half seasons and has developed well, both as a player and as a young man.
“He has been an important part of the successes of the last two seasons and now has the opportunity to play regularly in the Premier League for the first time in his career.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to work with him for an extended period and are confident he will continue to work hard to improve and develop in all areas.”
Ipswich currently sit just outside the Premier League’s relegation zone after picking up four points from their opening eight fixtures.
