Jupiter James Timothy Chase-Evans is Windsor’s first baby of the new year.
He was born at 1:01 a.m., on Jan. 1, 2025 at Windsor Regional Hospital, according to staff.
This is the third child for parents Marissa Chase and Brandan Evans.
“It felt like it took forever, but dad says it went fast,” said Chase, in a statement issued by the hospital — noting the labour was actually much shorter than for her previous two kids.

The couple says they’re looking forward to introducing Jupiter, the latest edition to the Chase-Evans family, to his five-year-old brother and two-year-old sister when they get home.
“Brother and sister can’t wait [to meet Jupiter],” said Evans.
“It’s going to be great to have everyone at home, all comfortable and happy.”
