Mile Svilar has continued to perform despite Roma’s awful first half of the season.
The goal-keeper’s determination and tenacity saved Roma on numerous occasions, frequently being named the best player for the Giallorossi.
The question remains whether Svilar will end up leaving the club in the summer or whether he will choose to stay as Roma’s number one option.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Svilar is still waiting to receive Roma’s proposal for a new contract.
His current one expires in 2027 and his salary hardly reflects his importance to the team: around 900,000 euros per year.
Roma remain calm as they have not received any signals from the player’s camp that Svilar would like to leave.
