Montreal police are asking the public to help them find a missing 71-year-old woman.
Mimose Jean-Jacques was last seen on Wednesday at her home in the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough. She has not been seen since.
Police say the woman could be travelling on foot or by public transit.
She has cognitive impairment and may have difficulty orienting herself, leading her family and investigators to fear for her health and safety, police say.
Jean-Jacques is described as Black, about five feet five inches tall and 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She speaks French.
She was last seen wearing a pale pink, mid-thigh coat, black winter boots and carrying a black leather purse.
Anyone with information about her disappearance is asked to call 911 or their local police station.
