The hopes of a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas in their war in the Gaza Strip are fading. On Saturday (May 11), United States President Joe Biden said that a truce deal would happen as soon as “tomorrow” if Hamas released the hostages it held captive following its October 7, 2023, attack on Israel. “Israel said it’s up to Hamas, if they wanted to do it, we could end it tomorrow. And the ceasefire would begin tomorrow,” Biden said.
The Canadian Police on Saturday arrested a fourth person and charged him with the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The arrested man was identified as Amandeep Singh. Earlier the police had arrested three Indian men in connection with the case.
