Natalie Portman is keeping her floral style streak from wilting. After stepping out in a pink minidress covered in azalea-esque cutouts, the actor opted for another garden-inspired look on Friday, while attending a SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations event for her upcoming miniseries Lady in the Lake.
Portman hit the carpet in a darling matching set from Prada. Her baby blue ensemble included a high-waisted skirt with a rainbow flower pattern and yellow piping, as well as an identical plunging top that tied below the bust. She paired the look with a delicate pair of diamond earrings and strappy, open-toed silver heels—the same pair she wore with her previous floral look.
For the occasion, the actor pinned her brunette waves back in a half-up, half-down hairstyle. Matching the sweet look of her outfit, she wore a rosy makeup look with flushed cheeks, fluttery black lashes, and a bright pink lipstick.
At the event, she took the stage to discuss her role as both leading actress and co-executive producer of Lady in the Lake. The Apple TV+ limited series is based on the novel of the same name by Laura Lippman. The story “takes place in ’60s Baltimore, where an unsolved murder pushes housewife and mother Maddie Schwartz (Portman) to reinvent her life as an investigative journalist and sets her on a collision course with Cleo Sherwood (Moses Ingram), a hardworking woman juggling motherhood, many jobs and a passionate commitment to advancing Baltimore’s Black progressive agenda,” per IMDb. The miniseries is set to premiere next week on July 19.
