KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The North Carolina Central University men’s basketball team was recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches for its academic success during the 2023-24 season announced on Monday.
The Eagles earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award along with over 360 other programs in the nation. To receive this honor teams must have completed the academic year with a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
Additionally, four NCCU student-athletes were named to the NABC Honors Court. Timmy Adedire, Terrence Crawford, Keishon Porter and Cobey Harraway all met the criteria for this honor finishing the year with a GPA of 3.2 or higher offered for only academically eligible juniors, seniors and graduate students.
