NHL player Mikhail Sergachev is selling his Tampa, Florida, home, which hit the market for $10.9 million just two days after news broke that he had been traded to Utah’s new expansion team.
Sergachev, 26, who had been with the Tampa Bay Lightning since 2017, winning two Stanley Cups, bought the waterfront home in September 2023 for about $9 million, according to property records. The defenseman was not available for comment. It was announced on June 29 that he would play for the still-unnamed team now known only as the Utah Hockey Club.
Located in Tampa’s Beach Park neighborhood, the 8,766-square-foot home was completed just last year. Constructed with concrete blocks and featuring impact doors and windows, it was built to withstand storms, and the living spaces are also elevated to reduce flood risk, according to the listing with Jennifer Zales of Coldwell Banker Realty. Zales was not immediately available for comment.

The modern home has six bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, including a primary suite with a terrace, water views and a spa-like bathroom with a deep soaking tub.
In fact, its bayfront location guarantees water views throughout much of the home, which has large, retracting glass doors that open up to the terraces lining both floors, listing photos show.
The main-level living space has an open plan, with a living room and wet bar area separated from another sitting area, the kitchen and a dining area by a 360-degree marble fireplace.
