Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite has become the ninth England player to withdraw from the Three Lions squad for the upcoming Nations League games against the Republic of Ireland and Greece.
Eight players, including Cole Palmer, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka, had already withdrawn on Monday, leading to Branthwaite being called up as a replacement for Lee Carsley’s final games in charge.
Now, the Everton man is set to return to his club after not travelling to Greece for Thursday’s game.
