The Midland Fire Department responded to two travel trailers fully engulfed in flames this past weekend.
According to a city spokesperson, the fire broke out at approximately 8:45 a.m. Sunday, July 14, along the 4100 block of South County Road 1201. Both travel trailers were deemed a total loss. Additionally, a third trailer sustained substantial damage due to radiant heat.
MFD reported no injuries. According to MFD, the renter of one of the affected trailers is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
MFD believes the cause of the fire was an electrical issue. No other information regarding the incident has been released.
