Port Vale have signed defender Jaheim Headley from Huddersfield Town.
The left-back has penned a deal which will keep him at Vale Park until at least the summer of 2027 although the terms of the transfer have not been disclosed by either club.
The 23-year-old, who played under current Vale boss Darren Moore during his time in charge at the Terriers, has previous League Two experience from a loan spell with Harrogate Town at the start of the 2022-23 season.
“Having worked with Jaheim throughout my time at Huddersfield Town, I am aware of the qualities that he will immediately bring to our squad; I am delighted to get the deal over the line so early on in the transfer window,” Moore told the Port Vale website.
Headley had started three games for Huddersfield in League One this season and is Port Vale’s first signing of the January transfer window.
