Marcus Rashford is often the subject of heavy scrutiny at Manchester United, but his performance on Thursday is showing heaps of confidence.
Erik ten Hagβs side travelled to face Porto in the Europa League, and the England international was the key man inside the opening 20 minutes.
Rashford broke the deadlock after beating three defenders in the box and thumped home a powerful shot beyond goalkeeper Diogo Costa at his near post.
He then provided the second goal, again causing problems for Porto down the left wing.
Rashford made a run and timed his pass to Rasmus HΓΈjlund perfectly, with the Denmark international scoring his first of the season despite Costa getting a hand to it.
Rashford almost had a third involvement minutes later, with the goalkeeper forced into a dying save. Itβs now six goal involvements for him in his last five starts.
Quite the confidence boost.
