Rays Power Infra, a prominent solar EPC solutions provider and solar park developer in India, announced the acquisition of new projects worth INR 833 crores during the April-June quarter of 2024. These projects, spanning two states, will contribute over 680 MW to the company’s growing portfolio.
The company is committed to bolstering its solar park and EPC divisions, aiming to drive significant business expansion. Leadership at Rays Power Infra projects over 50% growth in both revenue and profitability for the current financial year, compared to the previous year.
Founded in 2011, Rays Power Infra has been a pioneer in the solar park sector. In addition to developing solar parks, it offers comprehensive solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services. To date, the company has implemented 1,207 megawatts peak (MWp) of solar power projects.
In a strategic move to enhance its capabilities, Rays Power Infra has established a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to the production of solar modules, solar cells, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) on a gigawatt scale. The new subsidiary will focus on setting up large-scale manufacturing facilities, with the company currently evaluating land options and incentive policies across various states.
