Miller was not selected in June’s NBA draft after spending five seasons in the NCAA — two with Texas A&M before transferring to TCU for his final three. He scored 15.8 points per game last year with the Horned Frogs.
The 24-year-old signed with the Dallas Mavericks in July and spent Summer League and training camp with the reigning Western Conference champions before being released in October and joining their G League affiliate Texas Legends.
In 16 games with the Legends, Miller averaged 18.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per contest.
That performance appears to have been enough for the Bulls to take a chance on the Canadian.
Now, Miller seems set for his NBA debut.
