Tottenham kicked off their 2024/25 Europa League campaign on Thursday and it hasn’t been pretty so far for Ange Postecoglou.
First, the match was delayed by over 30 minutes after severe traffic in north London prevented opponents Qarabag from reaching the stadium.
Once the game finally kicked off, the bad luck continued.
Tottenham centre-back Radu Drăgușin was shown a straight red card only seven minutes into the game.
He failed to control a pass and then brought down Juninho as the last man, seeing him earn his marching orders.

It was a rough start for Spurs, but soon afterwards in-form Brennan Johnson fired his side ahead with a lovely angled strike from inside the box.
