Samsung will be unveiling foldable phones, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10 and its features have been leaked before the launch.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will sport a 6.3-inch outer display, slight bigger than the Fold 5 which had 6.2-inch and will retain 7.6-inch size for inner display. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will likely be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Qualcomm’s 2024 Flagship chipset. Both the screens will have 120Hz variable refresh rate and a peak brightness of upto 2,600 nits.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6
Like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and also comes with an Armor Aluminum frame. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will sport a 6.7-inch foldable screen and 3.4-inch outer display.
The outer screen runs at 60Hz and the inner display will have a 120Hz variable refresh rate. Galaxy Flip 6 will be available in 12GB and will have only two storage options 256GB and 512GB, unlike the Fold 6 which consists 1TB option
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have dual camera setup – 50MP primary and 12MP ultrawide. It may sport a 10MP selfie camera. It can record 4K 60fps videos using all its cameras. The Flip 6 will see an upgrade in battery from 3,700 mAh (Flip 5) to 4,000 mAh and it will be thinner compared to its predecessor.
