It’s opening weekend for the Saratoga Race Course.
Three stakes highlighted the card on Saturday, including the Grade 1 Diana and the Grade 3 Kelso and Sanford.
Sunday’s card of racing is highlighted by the Grade 3 Quick Call, but there is plenty more happening.
The summer meet will run for 40 days through Labor Day weekend. The season began on Thursday.
For more information on the schedule of events head over to the Saratoga Race Course website.
For those heading out to the race course, the Capital District Transportation Authority now has a summer trolley that can take you there for free.
The service is available at hotels and attractions along Broadway in downtown.
The trolley runs through Labor Day and will operate from noon until 10 p.m.
CDTA is also encouraging the community to use its bike-share program during the summer meet. Both pedal and electric bikes are available for rent.
